In this article, we take the time to walk through the various capabilities of the TrustBolt application from the perspective of an Oversight Manager.  We introduce some key concepts and provide a quick-start guide to help you get started.

This article covers everything you need to know about TrustBolt as an Oversight Manager.  Oversight managers are typically in a compliance, legal, or HR oversight type role.  

If you have not used TrustBolt yet, we recommend reading the "Getting Started with TrustBolt" article and familiarizing yourself with the platform before exploring Oversight Manager functionality.  We generally recommend Oversight Managers leverage TrustBolt on the desktop.

What is TrustBolt?

TrustBolt is a dedicated AI Adoption platform designed to encourage responsible AI usage by everyone across an organization.

• TrustBolt protects your data by providing complete Oversight Management of every prompt and response between your users (people and systems) and all AI. • TrustBolt finally helps understand and control your AI spend by providing a full suite of Cost Management tools, including full cost transparency to end users, entitlements, and quotas. The Oversight Manager Role

The Oversight Manager capability is one of the most important features of TrustBolt towards helping companies accelerate responsible AI adoption across their entire organization.  

The Oversight Manager is a specialized role within the TrustBolt platform, designed to enable specific individuals within an organization to view all prompts input into AI models and the generated outputs returned for their organization.

Specifically, the Oversight Manager role allows entitled individuals to:

1. Search and review every prompt and response within TrustBolt
2. Access all group and individual chats.
3. Search for pre-defined sensitive data using TrustBolt Protectors
4. Save and re-use searches for ongoing use.

The Oversight Manager role is a privileged position, granted permission by the client administrator, for your organization.

Navigating The Oversight Manager Screen

Once you have logged in, you will be presented with the main application screen. To access the Oversight Manager dashboards, click on the “Oversight” app in the left-hand side app navigation bar.

1. Oversight “App” launcher - To get started as Oversight Manager by clicking on the Oversight App in the App launcher menu.
2. Group and Individual Chat Oversight - The Oversight Manager has full access to all group and ad-hoc personal chat histories for your organization instance.
3. Oversight Text Search and Filters - Oversight Manager Search and Filters provides a quick way to find specific content that may have been sent or received from an AI model.  Search allows for free-form text searches of content, and filtering enables a more targeted approach by limiting results to specific criteria, such as dates, groups, people, models, or Protector policy.
4. Oversight Search Results - Oversight Results are the targeted results of an Oversight Search and Filter above.
5. Saved Searches - Saved searches allow a quick and easy way to save and reuse search criteria for specific reasons or topics.  After building a search criterion with freeform text and/or filters, you can save the search for later use.  
6. Search History - In addition to saved searches, TrustBolt Oversight Manager automatically remembers your last ten searches for reference.  Click on a previous search and then save it as above before it is forgotten.
